How master theses can promote new research constellations

In order to better meet broader engineering problems, collaborations among various fields are needed. At Applied mechanics, such cooperation is promoted through financially supporting cross divisional master thesis projects. Since 2008 13 such projects have run, which has resulted in new research constellations involving several PhD students.
